Participate in and successfully complete trainee program where you will learn to install, maintain, test, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, operate, and overhaul all substation apparatus such as generators, circuit breakers, transformers, electric motors, protective devices, capacitor banks, regulators, condensers, pumps, reactors, load tap changers, circuit switchers, motor-operated and manual switches, bus work, wiring, battery banks and chargers, and associated equipment at switch-yards, and substations or power plants if requested. + Perform welding and operate shop equipment such as, drill presses, grinders, saws, and torches in the repair of, manufacture, or maintenance of equipment and apparatus. + Install, maintain and repair lighting, security systems, air conditioning, and heating systems.
