p>What You Will Do: • Work directly with customers to develop CONOPS, system architectures, and requirements, manage qualification, verification, and validation efforts • Analyze system functions and physical architectures, allocate requirements across subsystems, and support design decision-making through structured trade studies within a formal systems engineering environment • Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root-cause and corrective-action processes, using advanced lab or field test equipment • Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders • Maintain engineering specifications (DS, ARD, etc.) and drawings (schematics and assembly drawings) • Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering IPTLs • Attend team meetings, teleconferences, and working group sessions as required • Coordinate and support sustainment efforts, managing depot returns and repair activities.
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Experience with or exposure to various military weapons-conveyance platforms, such as ships, ground combat systems, and fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft • Electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communication protocols • Experience reading software routines and integrating them with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred • Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including applying scripting or automation for data collection and analysis • Use of tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, or Python for data analysis and automation.
