p>Key Responsibilities: Independently perform painting and body repair work on vehicles at a highly specialized, skilled level; estimates extent of damage and repair costs. p>Responsibilities:\n\n Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications\n Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment\n Keep shop area neat and clean\n Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts\n Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary\n Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner\n Check tire pressure and add air if needed\n Perform Multi-Point inspections on new and pre-owned vehicles\n Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals\n Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters\n Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed\n Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs\n Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership\n \nCompensation: The Drivability Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.
