Common patient population and cases include neuro patients, laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, ostomies, hernia repair, total hip/knee joint replacement, PICC, TPN, lipids, fem-pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA, dialysis, epidurals, IV antibiotics, chronic pain, sepsis, and urgent OR cases. Fast-paced unit with heavy patients; can get 8-12 surgery admits per day while discharging patients at the same time.
