Quality Engineer II

In recent years, Form Energy has earned a number of accolades, including being named by TIME as a "Best Invention", MIT Technology Review as a "Top Climate Tech Company To Watch", and Fast Company as "One of the Next Big Things In Tech". Experience with plastic and metal welding, automated assembly, inspection, and test, human-assist automation for assembly and test, programming automation equipment, and/or MES systems is a plus but not required.

Principal Manufacturing Engineer

You can expect to become deeply entrenched in the intersection of critical functions including control system design, process engineering, and manufacturing operations as the team works toward a common goal of manufacturing battery components and assemblies in high volume. In this role, you will build electromechanical control systems for high volume automated process equipment, robotic cells, servo actuated mechatronic systems, and utilities systems with an initial focus on subsystem development and later on system integration in a manufacturing environment.

Senior Controls Engineer

What youll do: Production Escalation & Support: Serve as the primary engineering escalation point for Sustaining Automation Technicians to resolve complex electrical, controls, and OT network issues. You will own the lifecycle of deployed systems, diagnosing complex controls and electrical issues, driving root-cause analysis, and independently executing PLC, HMI, and MES software improvements.

Controls Engineer, Sustaining

You will own the processes and improvements of complex robotic cells and automated hardware, driving technical decisions that eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks and ensure long-term equipment reliability. In recent years, Form Energy has earned a number of accolades, including being named by TIME as a "Best Invention", MIT Technology Review as a "Top Climate Tech Company To Watch", and Fast Company as "One of the Next Big Things In Tech".

Staff Equipment Engineer, Automation

What youll do: Lead Floor-Level Software Sustaining: Manage a team of MES Technicians providing day-to-day operational support for the plant software suite (MES, QMS, WMS, ERP) to eliminate data bottlenecks and minimize downtime. You will balance immediate floor-level troubleshooting with long-term continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging hard-won wisdom to build optimization tools and mentor a high-performing technical team.

MES Engineer

Own applications end to end: full-stack web applications (e.g., React / Next.js / TypeScript front ends, Python / FastAPI back ends, PostgreSQL) that become governed systems of record and decision-support tools - from data model through UI to production deployment and the users who depend on them. Strong full-stack engineering skills: a modern web framework (React / Next.js / TypeScript or similar) and a production back-end language and framework (Python / FastAPI strongly preferred), with solid relational data modeling (PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy or equivalent).

Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer
