The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow direction from the Shop Foreman and Operations Manager, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
Makes periodic inspections of fuel bladders, pumping units in compliance with applicable regulations to detect and correct leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and malfunction of mechanical units, meters, gauges, and hoses. Purpose and Scope The FHE Technician installs, maintains, repairs, and adjusts pumps, control valves, and meters, strainers, and filters, water separators, and pipelines of liquid fuel systems for airfields.
