Responsibilities Include: • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of adult patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors in both inpatient and outpatient settings • Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, treatment-related assessments, and symptom management visits • Manage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and other systemic treatments, including monitoring for and managing treatment-related toxicities • Collaborate closely with attending physicians, nursing, pharmacy, infusion services, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans • Participate in inpatient rounding, admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as assigned • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, and supportive care needs • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within scope of practice and collaborative agreements • Document clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record • Support quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and institutional goals.
