The Accounts Payable Specialist is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Third Party and Intercompany invoices, as well as conducting statement audits and problem resolutions, for multiple company payables.

The incumbent provides technical and administrative supervision to a section of two (2) Health Systems Specialists, GS-0671-13 for data analysis; two (2) Nurse (RN) Informaticists; three (3) Health System Specialists, GS-0671-12/13 for program and administrative oversight, direction, and management; one (1) Administrative Officer, GS-0341-9/11 for program management; and two (2) Program Support Assistants, GS-0303-7 for administrative support.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following: designing, implementing, assessing, monitoring and documenting therapeutic plans utilizing the most effective, least toxic and most economical medication treatments; helping achieve positive patient centric outcomes through direct and indirect interactions with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams in assigned areas; performing physical assessments; and ordering laboratory and other tests to help determine efficacy and toxicity of medication therapy. Preferred Experience: Highly desirable candidates will have recent experience in a current or previous job (including residency training) that includes direct patient care and comprehensive medication management responsibilities; advanced pharmacy degree (PharmD); PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency; PGY2 specialty residency or equivalent experience in the specialty applicable to this position; applicable board certification.
