· NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
· CPR/BLS certification (may be required depending on setting).
Requires some public contact with client patients, client staff, and doctors, requiring considerable interpersonal skill, professionalism, and customer service.
The position occasionally involves frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting.

Works within an interdisciplinary team in the completion of the recreational therapy plan of care, with evaluation of a patient's pre-morbid leisure lifestyle and provides goals and objectives directed at a therapeutically designed recreation/leisure-oriented treatment which assists patients in attaining optimum level of functioning. Required: Certification-eligible by the Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation/Activity Certification (CTRS) or National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) or hold a Master's Degree in related field (i.e. Music Therapy, Art Therapy).
