Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating proceduresObtain high-quality imagesMaintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriateQualificationsGeneral ultrasound (abdomen, OB/GYN) and/or vascular experience preferredAllied Health degree (2-year program)or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-approved Ultrasound Technology programValid ARDMS registry required within six (6) months of hireCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. We offer 24-hour emergency room services, heart and vascular care, orthopedic and spine care, women's services, primary stroke center, minimally invasive surgery including robotics and bariatrics.
