The role serves as a technical escalation point for shipboard teams during planned and unplanned maintenance, supports condition-based maintenance strategies, defines vendor work scopes and quality criteria, and leads assigned technical initiatives in partnership with Engine Asset leadership and Technical Operations. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with shipboard teams, shoreside technical stakeholders, vendors, managers, and directors while supporting vessel reliability, reduced downtime, safety, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
