Responsibilitiesā¢ Design and build Foundry-based pipelines and workflows, enabling ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data for both engineering and operational usersā¢ Define major parts of our data and backend architecture, including choice of frameworks and systemsā¢ Build and maintain our data infrastructure, real-time data processing, data transportation, and backend servicesā¢ Collaborate closely with product, system, software, and hardware engineers to integrate data flows into mission workflowsā¢ Mentor other engineers as the team grows, and work with engineering leadership to define longer term roadmapsā¢ Work 3+ days per week out of our office in San Francisco (Market Street) or Los Angeles (Hawthorne)Minimum Requirementsā¢ Minimum of 2+ years of experience in professional, object-oriented software developmentā¢ Experience with Python, SQL data warehouses, and no-SQL systemsā¢ Experience building, testing, and supporting major systems in productionā¢ Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or workflows in Palantir Foundry or other enterprise data platformsPreferred Requirementsā¢ Experience with Palantir Foundryā¢ Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platformsā¢ Experience with 2D and 3D Visualization ideally in defense use casesā¢ Experience with additional frameworks such as React. A key aspect of this role will be leveraging Palantir Foundry as CHAOSs internal data operating platform - building, maintaining, and optimizing end-to-end workflows and pipelines that manage sensor, operational, and enterprise data across the company.
