Responsibilities• Design and build Foundry-based pipelines and workflows, enabling ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data for both engineering and operational users• Define major parts of our data and backend architecture, including choice of frameworks and systems• Build and maintain our data infrastructure, real-time data processing, data transportation, and backend services• Collaborate closely with product, system, software, and hardware engineers to integrate data flows into mission workflows• Mentor other engineers as the team grows, and work with engineering leadership to define longer term roadmaps• Work 3+ days per week out of our office in San Francisco (Market Street) or Los Angeles (Hawthorne)Minimum Requirements• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in professional, object-oriented software development• Experience with Python, SQL data warehouses, and no-SQL systems• Experience building, testing, and supporting major systems in production• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or workflows in Palantir Foundry or other enterprise data platformsPreferred Requirements• Experience with Palantir Foundry• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms• Experience with 2D and 3D Visualization ideally in defense use cases• Experience with additional frameworks such as React. A key aspect of this role will be leveraging Palantir Foundry as CHAOSs internal data operating platform - building, maintaining, and optimizing end-to-end workflows and pipelines that manage sensor, operational, and enterprise data across the company.
