Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline • 6 years relevant work experience • Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems • Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion • Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.) • Desired Characteristics • Master's degree in Engineering or other closely related fields • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task • Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation • Demonstrated ability to own and drive execution and burn down of critical tasks • Creative problem solver when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues • Knowledge of GE Healthcare tools and processes (engineering, sourcing, supply chain such as Agile, PDM, ALM, MyWorkshop, DOORS, Jama) • Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change • Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework • Previous experience working with regulated medical products and/or Ultrasound. This role has design responsibility to deliver customer workflow, feature functionality, product quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, regulatory, compliance, and cost.
