Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in special education setting.

p>The applicant for the educational aide certificate shall: Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (defined as completion of 48 semester hours) of college course work.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP). Teacher Incentive Allotment provides additional pay for Recognized, Exemplary, and Master teachers in designated classroom teaching positions.
