MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an accredited general residency training program, have completed an accredited Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship and be Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and have a Texas Medical license without restrictions. He/she will participate in teaching activities of the Department including conferences and lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds; teaching of students and residents in the operating room, clinics, and in-patient services; continuing medical education; and local, regional, and national meetings.
