Essential functions will include:
- Develop Navy Training Systems Plans and related products per Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Instruction (OPNAVINST)76 Series governing Navy training systems for new and legacy systems.
li>Vetting release of FMS country-requested equipment in accordance with technology security and transfer requirements, export controls, disclosure of classified and controlled unclassified information, and system-specific release requirements for sensitive technologies frequently requested by foreign partners. The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for logistics and acquisition type duties related to FMS cases from cradle to grave from initial request of equipment through planning for long-term program life-cycle sustainment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of feasibility studies and systems engineering documents, including Concepts of Operation, Requirements, Specifications, Systems Engineering Management Plans, Test Plans, and related materials.
- Oversee the development of preliminary (30%) and detailed design documents (plans, specifications, estimates) for deploying traffic control equipment, communication devices/media (fiber optics, wireless), CCTVs, DMS, decision support systems, and ITS asset management plans.
