As a Software Developer on VEIR's Product team, you will join a small, cross-functional data analytics group building tools that directly shape how VEIR delivers value -- both internally and to external energy customers.
This role is well-suited for a developer who has spent time in data-heavy environments -- energy tech, a data platform company, or a technically rigorous startup -- and who is comfortable moving between writing clean backend code and wrangling complex datasets.

As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will help define and execute the technical roadmap for Klaviyo's backend platform - from dependency management and major framework upgrades to developer productivity tools that reduce toil and accelerate velocity.
p>We design and operate distributed testing systems that qualify every code change for production deployment, build AI-powered developer tools that accelerate the development workflow, maintain secure automated operations for CI services, and provide observability infrastructure that surfaces quality trends across the entire codebase. We"re looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build core components of our CI systems - from distributed test orchestration that runs thousands of test suites daily across heterogeneous hardware, to AI-powered developer tools that generate tests, predict failures, and surface regressions before they reach production.
