Responsibilities ⢠Perform on-site installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical seals and seal support systems ⢠Support customers during commissioning/startup and shutdown of pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment ⢠Investigate and resolve seal failures and equipment performance issues in partnership with Reliability, Claims, and Sales teams ⢠Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for seal-related issues in the field ⢠Deliver hands-on training to end users on mechanical seal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting ⢠Identify recurring service trends and communicate insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement ⢠Serve as the technical, customer-facing resource for complex service challenges at industrial sites ⢠Support aftermarket sales efforts by recognizing new opportunities during site visits. Qualifications ⢠Direct experience with mechanical seal installation, removal, and troubleshooting (required) ⢠5-10 years in a field service, maintenance, or rotating equipment role ⢠Strong mechanical aptitude; vocational training or technical certifications preferred ⢠Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment ⢠Skilled in real-time problem-solving and independent fieldwork with minimal supervision ⢠Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset ⢠Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic reporting ⢠Ability to meet physical and travel requirements (up to 75%, lift 50 lbs., industrial environments).
