The Opportunity As the Suply Chain BESS PPM, you will have the opportunity to: Perform assigned procurement activities for a proposal(s) or project(s) Lead others with procurement responsibilities while requiring minimal supervision Key Responsibilities Purchases assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures Assists in project setup of procurement related activities Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts Collaborates to resolve complex claims or other contract issues Ensures contract documents are issued correctly and on schedule Assists with the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules (man-hours, cost, procurement milestone durations) Assists with the establishment and/or monitoring of procurement goals Monitors project procurement activities and reports status May develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external client and joint venture partners May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a project or projects May also lead and coordinate the entire budgetary pricing effort on a project or projects Files appropriate documents and follows filing rules List possible positions receiving direction: Procurement Representative Procurement Coordinator Field Procurement Expediter Management Responsibilities Acts in capacity of a "lead person."
