Responsibilities:Own the technical relationship on customer opportunities, from discovery and demos through POCs and architecture sign‑offPartner with account teams to qualify deals and shape technical strategies for unstructured data, performance, scale, and hybrid cloud needsDesign and validate solutions for workloads like file services, backup and archive, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud‑adjacent applicationsDesign architectures that address multi‑site collaboration, cloud integration, DR, and long‑term data lifecycleBuild credibility with infrastructure teams, storage administrators, architects, and application ownersBuild and maintain the technical toolkit: reference architectures, demo content, solution briefs, and competitive positioningQualifications:6+ years in a customer‑facing technical role (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Pre‑Sales Engineer) at a software, storage, or technology companyTrack record leading complex pre‑sales engagements end to end, with results you can point toStrong grounding in enterprise storage, file systems, and unstructured data management across on‑prem and cloud, including NFS, SMB, and objectExperience supporting or selling hybrid cloud solutions, cloud integration patterns, or multi‑cloud data managementAbility to translate customer requirements into practical solution designsStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills across technical and executive audiencesCandidates with the following additional experience will be highly regarded:Experience supporting customers across multiple industries and workload typesBackground with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including migration, tiering, and data protectionFamiliarity with containers, Kubernetes, or DevOps workflowsUnderstanding of data protection, ransomware recovery, compliance, and business continuityExperience with capacity planning, performance optimization, and TCO analysisThe annual pay range for the role is USD $250,000 - 275,000 OTE plus equity.
