Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.

Surgical Technologist 1, per diem

Holds and maintains a certified surgical technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist credentialing body accredited by the National commission of Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologists; or, has successfully completed an accredited school of surgical technology but has not, as of the date of hire, obtained certified surgical technologist certification, provided that such certification is obtained within 12 months of graduation date. Follows all BID-Needham Perioperative departmental guidelines when cleaning and caring for instruments; including the procedures for sterilization both immediate use steam sterilization as well as proper decontamination and preparation of instruments prior to steam or Sterrad sterilization.
