Job Description.
Pathfinder Ranch was founded in 1964 to provide an escape from the desert summer heat for the children of Palm Springs.
The IDT Coordinator assists and directs visitors when needed, and resolves interdisciplinary scheduling problems and inquiries; composes, correspondence, reports, and prepares a range of administrative documents resulting from IDT informed-choices and team meetings. In collaboration with the Medical Records Coordinator and Quality Improvement team, upload all care plans and signature pages into the Electronic Health Record (EMR), and perform audits on IDT-related tasks to ensure compliance .
p>Job Summary: In addition to professional duties as a regularly scheduled registered nurse in the Emergency Department, the Trauma/Stroke Coordinator provides leadership for the clinical nursing staff in the delivery of trauma and stroke services to all trauma/stroke patients received at Hi-Desert Medical Center.
Attends meetings of the San Bernardino Trauma Advisory Committee (TAC), Stroke CQI Committee and any county meetings relating to quality control for stroke and trauma care as necessary.
