QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced university degree, evidencing substantial knowledge of international relations, human rights, and social sciences; Knowledge and experience of principles of project management, including budgeting; Experience with team leadership/staff supervision; Five years of professional experience, including a number of years at the national level in the application of policy and law (experience at international level is an added asset); Recognized interest in research (publication record preferred), especially with a focus on human rights/human trafficking/international law/ public policy; Familiarity with the activities of major national and international human rights and governmental institutions, in the field of human trafficking: Proven managerial, day-to-day problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills; Ability to supervise staff and handle administrative matters in a small-sized office setting; Professional fluency in English, with excellent writing, communication and drafting skills; knowledge of other languages, particularly Spanish, would be an asset; Computer literate in major programs and software; Ability to work in a team, to establish and maintain external partnerships as well as effective and constructive working relationships with people of different national and cultural backgrounds while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
