Communicates using appropriate channels information, data, significant events of problems to appropriate persons, including: a) current patient condition/status, b) changes in the patients condition/status, c) laboratory/diagnostic data, d) intake & output, e) nutrition needs/status, f) patient needs, g) assessment findings and changes, h) changes of shift report, i) unit problems, j) patient/family/physician team member complaints, k) defective equipment l) supply usage. Actively promotes and supports LCMC Healths performance improvement initiatives by: consistently implementing infection control practices, maintaining the environment of care consistent with Joint Commission requirements, and participating in quality improvement activities and review/audit processes.
