Responsibilities • Greets visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely manner • Assists with answering incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, etc. and transfers caller to the appropriate person or department • Takes messages when needed and relays to the appropriate person in a timely manner • Selects appropriate clinician for patient assignment based upon patient needs, location of the patient, and skill of the clinician • Maintains visit data in electronic medical record.
