Our team consists of the CVICU nurses, our CVICU Intensivist, CVICU unit techs, NPs, PAs, Cardiologists, Pharmacists as well as all the team members who touch the same patients within the Riley Heart Center (Cardiac Step-Down Unit, Cath Lab, Cardiac OR, Echo, Telemetry). Our nursing staff develops and maintains an extensive clinical skillset and cares for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, continuous dialysis, continuous inotropic medications, heart transplantation, and mechanical cardiac assist devices such as ECMO and VAD.
