Performs a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in substation protection/control-related areas such as design, outage investigations, mitigation plans, documenting outage causes, identifying customer interruption trends, auditing SERC applicable asset maintenance, and use of engineering/technical principles, best practices, and knowledge of internal and external business issues to solve problems, develop cost-effective, technically sound solutions, and improve products or services. Performs a wide variety of protection and control mis-operation investigations, assisting field personnel with testing protection and control devices, calibrating relay test sets, design engineering, and operations activities related to routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties.
