p>Essential Job Functions: • Work with a team to develop innovative features and functionality for Light & Wonder products, utilities, and tools • Research new technologies to modernize and elevate existing Light & Wonder products • Work on refactoring, improving, and optimizing existing code base • Design and build libraries that will be shared with other Light & Wonder products • Embrace best coding practices, such as secure coding guidelines, test-driven development, continuous integration workflow • Provide prompt resolution to bugs/issues by using debugging skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstratable Knowledge of C# and C++ • Knowledge of Client-Server Architecture basics • Demonstratable knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts and Principles • Familiarity with Database Architecture • Have a high degree of comfort with software development tools such as IDEs/compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Excellent teamwork skills • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
