Manage inventory of peripherals and support devices, including tracking asset transfers, maintaining accurate documentation, and ordering/replenishing supplies to ensure operational readiness. Manage deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of hardware, software, and databases-including Consular Affairs applications, SCCM, Active Directory, vSphere, and SQL environments.
This DBA II role requires a service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with the SLAs, establishing and maintaining communication with technology customers to keep them updated with status of their requests, initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.

Work Environment: Works primarily indoors with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and must have a reasonable tolerance for dust, mold, scents, allergens, and communicable diseases which enables the employee to handle library materials, work in older buildings and interact with coworkers and the public.
