Option B: A Bachelors degree in behavioral science, psychology, sociology, social services, human services, behavioral anthropology, gerontology, cultural and gender studies, or human development* AND 480 hours of experience obtained in a supervised internship, practicum, or equivalent work or field work experience providing mental health, substance use disorder, or social work services such as interviewing and referring clients, non-clinical counseling, and social casework services in a human services agency. Government Child Welfare: Have you completed a San Bernardino County Children and Family Services social work related internship -OR- possess at least six (6) months of experience as an entry-level social worker in a government child welfare agency providing social work services such as counseling, referrals, and case management services to children and families in crisis?.
