The OM leads a team of Task Associates and the Merchandise Manager (MM), and is responsible for supporting the management of the operations of a retail store, including realignments, planograms and inventory life cycle-related processes (e.g., cycle counts, damages, testers, Return To Vendors (RTV), Destroy in Field (DIF) and inventory adjustments). Manages all aspects of Business Services, including facility acquisition, facility management and operations, warehouse operations, asset management, administrative contract management, the development of service level agreements and the management of the regions Safety and Incident Management Program. Oversees the preparation of management and productivity reports, internal audits, special reviews, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to improve services and to exchange, or verify information, answer inquiries, address issues, or resolve problems with customers.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually working inside; however, they will occasionally be outside and exposed to various weather conditions while performing such tasks as installing batteries and wiper blades. The employee is also occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration.
