Commercial Lines Account Manager Turbeville Ins Agency-ColaCommercial Lines Account ManagerColumbia, South CarolinaThis list is intended to be representative of the tasks preformed within the position description but is not limited to: · Service commercial lines accounts as assigned, aiding in rating and quoting as needed · Binding New & Renewal Coverage – Processing Commercial Lines applications and collection of premiums per established agency procedures before binding any coverage · Maintain client files in agency management system · Maintain required licenses · Respond to requests in a timely manner · Issue cancellation notices as required · Service commercial lines accounts to prevent gap and/or lapse in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures · On occasion, meet with clients to discuss and handle their insurance needs · Prepare general correspondence as required for executive officers · Keep producers fully informed of important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management · Other duties as assigned Required Experience : · SC P&C Insurance License preferred · SC Broker License Preferred · Two Years’ experience in Commercial Lines via an insurance agency environment preferred Required Education: · High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: walk; sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, step stools, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; able to push and pull doors.
