Core Responsibilities: • Customer Locations: Work with customers to determine the functionality of each machine used in the fabrication of windows and its suitability for re-use when retooling a window fabrication line • Prepare plans for changeover from one product line to another • Assist in improving the efficiencies of a customers operation • Assist in determining the best location for equipment • Assist the Fenestration Lab personnel in performing field testing of units • Regular visits with largest customers to assist in day-to-day operations • Maintain phone contact with customer base • Assist less experienced personnel in the trouble shooting of problems at customers plants • Conduct on-site training for customers and their plant personnel • Operate and demonstrate window fabrication equipment • Explain the basics of window operation • Prepare trip reports for internal distribution • Follow-up on any open issues in a timely manner.
