Performs daily cleaning and sanitizing of offices, classrooms, labs, hallways, lavatories for all buildings, including: vacuuming, emptying of trash containers, recycling, dusting, cleaning of glass, washing floors, stripping, waxing and buffing floors, cleaning of carpets and performing other custodial duties as required. Understands proper use of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers and cleaning compounds and to differentiate in their use in cleaning toilets as opposed to food preparation and handling areas where improper cleaning methods will contaminate food prep surfaces and equipment.
