This position features MD/DC/VA area travel.
Responsibilities: Install, wire, and configure electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and other low-voltage security equipment. This role involves working with access control systems, CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, and related electrical components to ensure systems operate reliably and meet client specifications.
Provide clients with clear instructions and training on how to use their security systems effectively.
Respond to client inquiries and provide support for any system-related issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and system configurations.
Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines during installations and service calls.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technology and industry best practices.
Suggest improvements and upgrades to enhance system efficiency and security.
. Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Relevant certifications in security system installation and maintenance are a plus.
