The Industrial Security Specialist will be skilled at delivering initial and recurring briefings on critical program information, classification marking, safeguarding and destruction, Operations Security (OPSEC), physical and communications security while being adept at managing personnel and classified-material records to ensure data integrity, conducting inventories and reconciliation for accountability, and developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedures for handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials. Conduct administrative inquiries of security violations to include loss and compromise of classified information/material, and coordinate initial and final reports; Coordination with the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) / insider threat team, when applicable. Specialized experience includes: Assisting with personnel security background investigation processing; Reviewing investigative reports for completeness and discrepancies under guidance; Applying established adjudicative procedures in support of determinations; Maintaining case files in personnel security databases/systems; and Providing customer service or onboarding support related to security processing. Your duties will include managing and controlling secure configurations of over 200 information systems for a federal client with a critical and high-profile mission in accordance with NIST 800-128 guidance and applicable federal and organizational policies to enable security and facilitate the management of risk. You will use Security-Focused Configuration Management (SecCM) to build on the general concepts, processes, and activities of configuration management by attention on the implementation and maintenance of the established security requirements of the organization and systems.
li>Familiarity and experience utilizing Scattered Castles, eQIP, JPAS, DISS, JVS, DCII, and CVS; initiating and scoping, T5R background investigations; use of DPRIS, OPM Portal; performing National Agency Checks and Credit Checks. • Individuals shall Assist the Government in assessing, validating and certifying the trustworthiness of customer and designated DoD-affiliated personnel for access to sensitive compartmented information, through case management, adjudication, and due process.
