The Wound/Ostomy RN provides acute and rehabilitative patient care to wound and ostomy inpatients and outpatients; is responsible for direct patient care, education, planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, Physician Orders, recognized nursing techniques and policies, procedures, established clinical competencies; demonstrates critical thinking and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient; is responsible for meeting the clinical competencies set forth by HCA HealthONEAurora campuses. Offering services across the continuum of care to meet patients’ total healthcare needs, HCA HealthONE includes seven acute care hospitals, a dedicated flagship pediatric hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, CareNow® urgent care clinics, mental health campuses, imaging and surgery centers, physician practices, home and hospice care, and AirLife Denver, which provides regional critical care air and ground transportation.
