This role is responsible for gathering data requirements, designing logical/physical data models, establishing and refining data flow diagrams, and providing data knowledge to deliver great solutions. Within their role, the Sr. Data Architect helps mentor/teach team members and works to constantly improve the team's practice. What You’ll Be Brewing: + Create new, and update existing, logical and physical data models using a variety of industry approaches including normalization and multidimensional, following team standards and practices. + Create new, and update existing, data flow diagrams following team standards and practices. + Consult with larger development team as needed on data issues, data modeling concerns, advice on ELT/ETL, planning or projecting future data changes, providing both industry and business perspectives. + Actively participate in teamwork peer reviews, daily stand ups, and other team activities. + Regularly be involved in data and AI literacy activities, including on occasion presenting topics to the larger Data and Analytics team. + Keep informed on industry, and company issues and trends related to job activities. Work towards understanding the data that they are exposed to, becoming a subject matter expert.
