By following the Hospice Aide Care plan and/or assignment form, which has been completed by Registered Nurse or other appropriate skilled professional, the aide provides services ordered by the physician, included in the Plan of Care, permitted to be performed under state law, and consistent with Home Health Aide training including the following: Assist in maintaining a clean, healthful, and safe environment. Performs or assists patient with bowel/bladder care including use of bedpan, perineal care, enemas, suppositories or digital stimulation as ordered, catheter care (not inserting or irrigation), colostomy care (not irrigation), bowel/bladder training programs, collections of specimens, and recording intake and output.
