The tax manager acts as a liaison for tenants during sales tax audits, attends meetings with governmental entities, other Tribal communities, greater regional communities, FSST Tribal Council, Directors, and staff as needed in relation to the departmental issues. Under administrative direction, Tax Managers oversee the activities and operations of the tax functional area within the Department of Taxation, including establishing procedures, and recommending and implementing the budget, and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with approved budget limitations.
