Key Responsibilities** **Design Leadership & Vision** + Lead concept development and design excellence across multiple project types and scales + Ensure consistency in quality, innovation, sustainability, and technical rigor + Review and guide major project milestones from concept through construction **Client Leadership & Business Development** + Serve as a trusted client partner, translating vision and goals into clear, actionable design strategies + Present design concepts and solutions, incorporating client feedback through design development + Maintain strong client relationships that drive repeat work and referrals + Strengthen AECOM’s presence in the design community through relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners **Project Oversight & Delivery** + Provide design oversight for multiple projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence + Generate design documentation, including concepts, renderings, material selections, and technical drawings + Collaborate with project managers to manage risk, staffing, and resourcing + Resolve complex design, technical, or delivery challenges **Team Leadership & Talent Development** + Mentor, and inspire members of a multidisciplinary interior design team + Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performance culture + Promote continuous learning, innovation, and emerging design trends **The following characteristics/experience are essential to the success of this position:** Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint, and rendering tools like V-Ray or Enscape.
