Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on processing, and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC controlled systems, sensors, servos, and automation components Execute equipment changeovers, calibrations, and aseptic integrity checks Maintain and update CMMS work orders, PM tasks, and parts usage Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient operations Follow all LOTO, safety, GMP, and food safety procedures Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, SOPs, and technical reports Required Qualifications 35+ years of experience in industrial maintenance aseptic packaging Hands on experience with Tetra Pak equipment or similar high speed packaging machinery Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in: o Pumps, valves, conveyors, motors o Pneumatics & hydraulics o Aseptic systems & CIP/SIP processes Electrical troubleshooting skills (110V/120V, 3 phase, DC systems) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals Knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, and safe work practices Ability to work independently in a fast paced production environment Preferred Qualifications PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in tight spaces Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Work in cold, wet, or warm production environments Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required Maintenance Technician Food & Beverage Shifts: 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts available Greater Sacramento Area (Near Davis / Woodland / Elk Grove) Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing aseptic packaging equipment and supporting production systems.
