p>Responsibilities: ⢠Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner with a sense of urgency ⢠Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff ⢠Supervise food and beverage staff ⢠Ensure customer satisfaction, uphold and maintain high-quality customer service and hospitality ⢠Maintain inventory control and costs ⢠Oversee food service and act as an expeditor when necessary to ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to customer table ⢠Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve customer complaints in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner according to departmental guidelines ⢠Ensure departmental policies and procedures are implemented and followed, and schedules and checklists are completed according to requirements ⢠Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take prompt corrective action ⢠Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere ⢠Resolve internal conflict amongst staff ⢠Ensuring back of house area and outlet are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations.
Requirements:
⢠Completion of a food service administration, hotel, or restaurant management course is an asset ⢠Excellent sales, customer service, and communication skills ⢠Solid leadership and organizational skills ⢠Proven human resource management skills, such as training and motivation ⢠Knowledge of the products, services, sector, industry, and local area ⢠Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
