Bachelors degree in safety management, industrial safety, or industrial hygiene and two years experience in a safety-related area, or five years experience in a safety-related position in solid fuel power generation or power-related business and Board Certification i.e. CSP, ASP, OHST, CUSA, CIH. The Safety Manager must effectively communicate information to the OPS Manager, Operational Excellence Global Director, fellow supervisors and managers, and subordinate operations personnel, relative to the level of training and provide suggestions for plant improvement.
