NewPipeline Engineer Kinder MorganPipeline EngineerShreveport, LAEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, prepare and analyze designs of process systems including NGL recovery plants, amine treating plants, glycol dehydration, molecular sieve dehydration, propane refrigeration, condensate stabilization, inlet compression, & residue compressionDesign gas and liquid pipelines, meter stations, compressor stations, and pump stationsDevelop single and multi-phase gas hydraulic models and gathering system evaluationsDevelop station process simulations and material & energy balances using ProMax softwareSize and specify mechanical equipment, including separators, filters, tanks, heat exchangers, air coolers, pumps, towers, heaters, compressors, control valves, treaters, and dehydratorsSpecify appropriate piping materials, diameters, and thicknesses to meet design requirementsPossess knowledge of midstream process controls and instrumentation, including controls narratives and cause & effect matricesModel and evaluate gas plants and suggest efficiency and debottlenecking projectsProvide technical support for startups, troubleshooting, and plant expansionsParticipate in PHA/Hazop studies/PSSR as necessary for both new and existing facilitiesFacilitate and lead Management of Change (MOC) requirementsAssist applicable parties to establish facility start-up (including PSSR), commissioning, and operating procedures.
