- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
Under supervision, may insert intravenous catheter for physician initiated IV fluid therapy or administration of intravenous medications; may insert, remove, and monitor urinary catheter for procedures and prepare/administer oral drugs and injections limited to intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular. Participates in population management activities including awareness of populations served and engages the patient in self-management support, goal setting, pre-visit planning, and capturing information that leads to health care improvement.
Responsibilities include entering patient intake and provider orders into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), requesting medical records, utilizing Pharmacy Database Monitoring Program as directed by providers, recording vital signs and medical history, collecting patient information, and facilitating patient flow. Holidays: 7 (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day).
