Under the supervision of the restorative nurse, the restorative aide provides direct restorative care, performs restorative nursing procedures that maximize the resident’s existing abilities, emphasizes independence instead of dependence, prevents loss of existing functional capacity, and follows established policies and procedures while providing care and respecting confidentiality at all times. Acts provides residents with a lifestyle that includes on-campus conveniences, services, and amenities such as casual and fine dining venues, beauty salons, fitness centers, security, healthcare, activity programs, and much more.
