Must reside in one of the following rural counties in Iowa: Allamakee, Appanoose, Audubon, Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Buena Vista, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cedar, Cerro Gordo, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Clarke, Clay, Clayton, Clinton, Crawford, Davis, Decatur, Delaware, Dickinson, Emmet, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Howard, Humboldt, Ida, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jones, Keokuk, Kossuth, Louisa, Lucas, Lyon, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Mitchell, Monona, Monroe, Muscatine, O'Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Sac, Shelby, Sioux, Tama, Union, Wapello, Washington, Wayne, Webster, Winnebago, Winneshiek, Worth, or Wright. Key responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships and connections between Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and rural communities/organizations; fostering bi-directional communication between Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center and rural community members, organizations, and leaders about catchment area needs; and supporting evidence-based interventions, strategies, and practices in rural communities that are seeking to address cancer prevention, screening, and survivorship.
