The duties of this position include: ā¢ Oversight of strategic vision ā¢ Provide leadership to technical council and recruitment of new membership ā¢ Will do research on: ā¢ Power delivery industry research and communication ā¢ Power cable system diagnostics ā¢ Statistical modeling and data analytics for power industry reliability assessment and prediction ā¢ Diagnostic technologies for power system apparatus condition assessment ā¢ High voltage engineering including design, qualification, long-term operation of devices ā¢ Distributed energy resources (DER) applicability and operation ā¢ Electrical failure analysis of power system components ā¢ Quality assessment of power cable, tree wire, and transformers ā¢ Lead teams of engineers and technicians to perform research and testing in multiple areas including covered conductor systems, medium and high voltage cable systems, transformers and bushings ā¢ Serve as PI and develops budget and testing plans ā¢ Serve as our liaison between the ECE academic faculty and NEETRAC.
